Personality
Supportive, empowering and believes in you.
Herbal Power
Traditional European herbs used to help nursing mothers with breast milk production.*
Reason to Love
While your bundle of joy is probably causing you no end of delight, moms can also feel overwhelmed and tired, especially when it comes to breastfeeding. We love the fact that the herbs in this formula have been traditionally used to help mothers support their production of breast milk and to promote healthy lactation.* With fennel and anise (which give the tea a sweet, licorice-like taste), and coriander and fenugreek, each sip is like stepping into a tradition that has been passed down from woman to woman for hundreds of years.
Taste
Sweet, slightly bitter with a distinct licorice-like taste.

Happy momma See All Reviews Write A ReviewThe herbs in this tea—fennel, anise, coriander, fenugreek and blessed thistle—are galactagogues, which comes from the Greek word “galactos,” meaning “milk” and “agogue,” which means “bringer of.” Women have been successfully using these herbs for centuries to help them breastfeed.*
Some of our favorite organic fennel comes from small farms in Bulgaria—one of fennel’s native stomping grounds—where it is harvested in the late summer to early fall.

I drink 3 cups of tea a day, and I've started making sun tea with it. I sweeten with a little honey. It's not my favorite flavor, but it Really Really Works! I pump twice a day to build up a back up supply for when I leave baby boy with grandma for the evening or maybe indulge in a couple glasses of wine. I like to pump at least 8 oz. a day. If I go one day without drinking this tea I notice a decline in my milk production. I always have enough for baby boy, but the extra I pump isn't as much. I would recommend this to any mommy struggling with low milk supply.
I am a new mommy of twin boys who are in the middle of a growth spurt. They went from eating 2.5 oz to 4 oz a feeding in a matter of 3 days. At this time I was sick and, when I pumped I was hardly getting my regular amount out when pumping. I started to drink Mother's Milk Tea and it is helping me work my way back to normal and even helping me create a stash for when I have to be away from my boys. I drink mine iced with raw honey blended with cinnamon. (Without it, this stuff taste like a foot) I'm going to try to add apples to it to enhance the flavor even more.
I only had to have one cup of this tea & my milk supply returned to a stable overflow.. Forced by my doctor I had to take bc; that in return slowed my milk supply down a lot.. Almost dry but THANK JESUS CHRIST THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY I am overflowing with milk.. Isn't God the Greatest??? & this tea is AWESOME BC it REALLY REALLY works!! Now I am feeling better because I can give my daughter all that she needs by simply breastfeeding & I was able to do that bc of mothers milk.. Incredible thank you makers of this tea!!!
I tried this tea for the first time last night and by 4 am both boobs were so engorged with milk I had to pump after feeding to release more nilk. My supply got low after a weekend of getting lazy and starting to supplement . I tried pumping but could only get an ounce . This is still my first day but I pumped 4 oz this morning off one side and 3 from the other , and waiting to see how much more milk I get the next couple of days! For me it worked better then fenugreek . The only downside is the taste it is so disgusting . I add in a green tea and a quarter of a lemon juice squeezed and a pinch of sugar made it drinkable
Just bought mother's milk three weeks ago with two other supplements to increase my breastmilk. I first tried the two other supplements because I thought the mother's milk would taste awful (when I read other reviews). I just drank a cup this evening and much to my delight, it really, really tastes good! It reminds me of other teas that I drank when I was a kid. Then, I made another cup of mother's milk right after the first one. For me, the effect is not just what I'm after, but also the taste. Even if it will cost a lot, I would buy mother's milk many more times because I know that it's not just my baby who would enjoy, but also myself.
Hi Anna,
Thank you for your review, we're very happy to hear that what started out as a hesitant experience ended up being a delightful one!
Sincerely, Traditional Medicinals
I like the traditional flavor with the fenagreek herbs in the mix. Drinking 3 cups a day along with the required water intake helps make sure my milk supply is very full... if i miss a feeding or a pump schedule (because of my work schedule) this helps my supply stay on track. The other flavor doesnt respond as fast to increasing the milk. But tastes better. I usually alternate drinking them.
Another note, i bought 2 boxes of each and gave the extra to my friend.... as a gift and she is always telling me how much she appreciated the tea because it helps her too. She works full time as well.
Hi Dacia,
Thanks for sharing Mother's Milk with others, we're happy to hear that you enjoy both versions!
Sincerely, Traditional Medicinals
I've been drinking this tea for months and I've always had a good milk supply. I only drink it at because I work overnights and I'm able to drink at least 3 cups per night. I took 5 days off and wasn't pumping every 2-3 hrs more like every 4-6 or whenever I got a chance and my milk supply dropped drastically. I had one cup when I came back to work and within 10 mins of pumping I pumped 3oz on the left and 2 1/2oz on the right!! I was getting worried because it seemed I was pumping less and less and my son is almost 7mths and loves to eat. I also exclusively pump so it's critical that my milk supply stays at a certain level. I would recommend this to any mother who has a low milk supply. This stuff doesn't taste the best but overall it's great!
I absolutely love this tea it really works I tried a couple before this one and did not see any results but as soon as I started drinking this one I notice a diference by the second day I also really love how they don't add or mix any other ingredients that can be harmful in the long run mild and fragrant that I love not bitter at all
Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over 1 tea bag.
